The opposite of blood 10:40 p.m. 2003-07-24 Faith is strength. Not in the conventional, overwrought sense that having faith will get you through the day, because essentially that's horse shit. What that means, to me, is that faith is a demonstration of your strength as a person. To manage to assert yourself in the face of obscurity and hold strong in a belief in something that has no basis in truth outside of your own heart takes a strength that is beyond me. To believe, and to stand fast in that belief takes inutterable courage. Faith is strength because if you can believe, you can never be brought down. Faith is strength and I gave up on faith.
